flipflop wines review

What can turn that frown upside down when you hear your doorbell at 7:15am?
Opening up the door to  receive 3 bottles of flipflop wines from the Fed Ex man!!!

After signing on the dotted line, I couldn't wait.  I opened the box and placed the bottles on the kitchen counter.
to each, their own: seven individualistic wines
I was sent 2 white wines, a Riesling and Pinot Grigio and 1 red wine: Pinot Noir.
It may only have been 7:15am  but I was so excited thinking  "It's 5 o"clock somewhere, right?!  I can't wait to have a glass tonight!

These wonderful wines are brought to you by David Georges, Vitner, flipflop wines."These are just good wines that complement the everyday casual lifestyle.  My goal was to stay true to the varietal character, to be expressive and to be well-balanced, and be affordable for people of all economic levels".
I feel he stayed true to his goal with a price of $7.00 a bottle.  But my personal favorite perk about flipflop wines?  The screw top! I LOVE IT!
That night my husband and I twisted open the Riesling, if you enjoy a sweet wine, this is the wine for you!  The first word out of my husbands mouth after his first sip was "delicious!".  I must agree it was very good.

A few days later on Saturday  night we enjoyed the Pinot Noir and we ate it with some home made chocolate chip cookies as it suggests it goes well with.  It was the perfect little night cap to enjoy together after our 2 year old had finally gone to sleep!

The last bottle left was the Pinot Grigio.  This was outstanding and quite refreshing!  Again, following their suggestion we enjoyed it with a lovely bruschetta pasta dish!  Success!

Did you  know an important part of  flipflop wines is its partnership with Soles4Souls?
Did you know more than 300 million children in the world are without shoes?  I didn't, so knowing a pair of shoes is being donated because I purchased a bottle of flipflop wine is a great feeling!
In 2011, flipflop wines and Underdog Wine Merchants are partnering with Soles4Soles to help them achieve their goal of 11 million pairs of shoes in 2011!  Let's help them achieve their goal!
